Daidalos Labs is a studio of senior engineers and architects in Belgrade. We design, build and run business software for companies in Serbia, the region, the EU and the US.
The story behind the name
In Greek myth, Daidalos was the craftsman who built the Labyrinth: a structure so intricate that no one who entered could find the way out.
We like the second half of the story better. When he needed to leave, Daidalos did not look for a gap in the walls. He understood the structure well enough to design something new, and built the wings that carried him over it.
That is the work we do. Business systems grow into labyrinths of tools, exceptions and workarounds. Our job is to understand them completely, then build the way through.

- We map the process and the people before we propose a platform. The right answer is sometimes less software, not more.
- Explain it plainly
- Senior judgment is only useful if you can follow it. We write decisions down in language your whole team understands.
- Own the outcome
- We measure ourselves by whether the system works for the people using it, not by whether the ticket was closed.
- Leave it maintainable
- Clean code, documentation and a handover that lets your team, or anyone else, continue without us.
Based in Belgrade
We are a small team of senior engineers and architects working across the Microsoft platform, custom software and integrations. You talk directly to the people who do the work.
We work from Belgrade, on Central European Time, with clients across Serbia, the former Yugoslav region, the EU and the US. Meetings in Serbian or English, in person in Belgrade or online anywhere.
